The shortest version of the aforementioned might be the ace of spades. That is, the lowest possible hand is the ace of diamonds, or 7-5-4-3-2, in any two or more suits. This is the shortest and smallest example of the most important poker tidbit.
A more advanced version of the aforementioned is the showdown. The showdown is a hand when all the cards are revealed. All but one player folds. After the cards have been re-shown to the remaining players, the winning hand is awarded the pot.
