After seven long years, it’s time for answers…
The Sinister Silhouette by Alex Grayson is FINALLY LIVE!!
She whispers my name at night, filling my dreams with her haunting beauty.
Her tormented amber eyes beg me for something I don’t understand, and her agonizing pain becomes my own.
For years, she’s come to me, calling my name.
For years, I’ve never known who she was.
For the past six years, Luca Hendrix has been having vivid dreams of a woman with amber eyes. A woman he does not know and has never seen before. She keeps asking for his help and for him to come to her. Luca is frustrated and does not know what to do, but yet he can feel her pain along with a fierce connection to her and it is driving him crazy. When he accidentally stumbles upon a woman, the same woman from his dreams it sets off a chain of events that has the potential to change so many lives, but will that change be for the better or the worse? Or perhaps maybe a little bit of both?
Alex Grayson has done it once again. She has totally wrecked me with her newest release, The Sinister Silhouette. If you have been following my blog for some time, I am sure you have heard me gushing about Alex Grayson before. Her book, Awaken Me, is one of my favorite reads this year and I wasn’t sure if she could ever top that story, but I am happy to say she blew me out of the water with The Sinister Silhouette. Alex Grayson has a knack for taking you down an emotional rollercoaster that will leave you completely breathless. You can see she has such a passion for writing and its evident in her stories. I don’t even need to read a back book blurb. If the book has Alex Grayson’s name on it, It will be mine and I will savor every glorious moment reading it.
I felt myself drawn to the hero and heroine and I felt that they both really came to life for me. They were so well thought out and you could feel every emotion and heartbreak they went through as the story unfolds. One of my favorite characters happened to be Luca’s niece, Aria. I find children sometimes to be underdeveloped in a story or just completely annoying, but Aria was so sweet you couldn’t help but want to hug and hold her. Luca, our hero, is so perfect and so sweet and tender, but yet has a side that you do not want to mess with. He loves hard and if you mess with his family, you better watch your back.
The plot takes you on many shocking twists and turns and at times it is downright dark. Layer by layer secrets are revealed and lives are changed. The plot slowly builds at an even pace and you know something bad has happened and although you may sort of figure it out, believe me it takes another turn that will leave you gasping and realizing how brilliant this story really is.
The Sinister Silhouette will captivate you and make you gasp at the same time. It is so well written and emotional that it will make you cry. Yes, even I cried, which seems to be a natural occurrence when I am reading a story by Alex Grayson. She brings a lot of heart to her stories and you can see the love she pours into her writing. This is another five star read for me and the second book this year by Alex Grayson that has made my top books of the year list. If you have never read anything before by Alex Grayson, you are truly missing out on a phenomenal author. I urge you to pick up the Sinister Silhouette and lose yourself in her capable hands. You will not be disappointed.
Alex Grayson is the bestselling author of heart pounding, emotionally gripping contemporary romance including The Jaded Series, The Consumed Series, and two standalone novels. Her passion for books was reignited by a gift from her sister-in-law intended to distract Alex and help her pass the time while her husband was away for work. After spending several years as a devoted reader and blogger, Alex decided to write and independently publish her first novel in 2014 (an endeavor that took a little longer than expected). The rest, as they say, is history.
Originally a southern girl, Alex now lives in Ohio with her husband, two children, two cats and dog. She loves the color blue, homemade lasagna, casually browsing real estate, and interacting with her readers. Visit her website, www.alexgraysonbooks.com, or find her on social media!
